Behold it’s a brand new day
Time to get up, out of that nice warm cozy bed
Maybe another ten minutes more…

Finally jump out of bed,
Rush to get ready, making sure lunch is packed
Then head out the front door

The outdoors brings a surprise
Of a cool breeze causing a shiver
Quickly wrap up in more layers

Time for a hot breakfast
Smell of bacon, eggs and mushrooms fill the air and my tummy
Washed down with a warm beverage

Breakfast has been consumed
The work day starts, agenda for the day examined
Ready to seize the day
