How can the cross be so beautiful? The beauty comes from our saviour Jesus, who brought us new life and forgave our sins, just like he forgave the sins of a thieve hanging on another cross near him.

“Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
