Will the shop be open he wonders
He still proceeds toward the mall
Traveled up many floors
Headed towards a certain store

Lights are off around him
Stores closing up
But at the far end of the walkway
He sees a familiar light

The shop is still open
Although not for long
He asks if they stock
The item he wants to buy

They check out the back
He’s optimistic still
The staff find what it is
That he came to the shop for
